ASK THE FOX sells cuddle blankets for indoor and outdoor use via Shopify. Product story, assortment, and purchase path meet in the same shop. User experience and navigation flow were to be improved so that visitors find their way more easily from entry to the right blanket; the conversion rate was the goal of the optimisation.
The decision
I implemented the OnSite optimisation in the Shopify system and worked on the navigation flow, SEO, and newsletter together. The product surface remains the central space for action: orientation in the shop, findability from outside, and renewed outreach all attach to the same commerce base.
The build
The desktop view combines concrete product photography of rolled blankets with a substantial editorial entry and a visible path into the assortment. This connection makes material, use, and product promise understandable before the next purchase step and gives the navigation a content context.
On mobile the entry condenses to a shipping notice, shop navigation, and a large-format outdoor motif. The OnSite work holds orientation and product world together even on a narrow screen. SEO brings the shop content into search; the newsletter creates another path back to the assortment.
In operation
The OnSite optimisation was delivered in 2021. Product presentation, editorial entry, and navigation now work in the Shopify shop as a shared path that leads visitors through the blanket world and improves user experience relative to the starting point.
On desktop and mobile the product idea remains recognisable, while SEO and newsletter create additional entries to the shop. The conversion rate is the working goal of this connection; the case does not state a measured figure for it.
