Findings on the animal model

Calendar, tour, and billing
Recurring appointments, Google Calendar sync, and reminders by email or SMS. Tour planning uses real travel times; billing uses the GOT fee schedule, factor, and mileage allowance — invoice drafts go to Lexware Office.
Practice without a front desk
Online booking, therapist profile in the directory, and medical-history portal take appointments and advance information. Teams add roles plus room and equipment planning; offline mode, passkeys, and servers in Germany are part of operations.

Is TheraTap an app you install?
It is a web app: the same context on the practice computer, tablet, and phone, without separate desktop and mobile worlds. For clients there is also the MeinTier app, where exercises from the therapy plan can be checked off.
Does it work without reception at the stable?
Yes. Offline mode takes documentation on site and syncs automatically as soon as a connection is back.
How does billing work?
Through the GOT fee schedule with full-text search, factor selection from 1× to 4× for emergency service, automatic mileage calculation, and an emergency-service surcharge. Invoice drafts go to Lexware Office.
How do appointments come in?
Through online booking, the therapist profile in the directory on theratap.de, and appointment requests from your own website. Reminders go out 24 hours ahead by email or SMS.
Is tour planning worth it?
For mobile practices, yes: the route is optimized with real travel times, not just as the crow flies. The calendar stays in sync with Google and can be exported as iCal.
Who runs hosting and privacy?
Both are part of the product: servers in Germany, GDPR-compliant, two-factor authentication, and passkey login via Touch ID, Face ID, or Windows Hello. Every new feature has to hold up in the live environment — not just in the concept.
