| Daten | Ort | Zweck | Speicherdauer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Website-Cookies / Local Storage (WebKit) | Auf dem Mac, App-WebKit-Datastore | Anmeldung und Sitzungen auf besuchten Seiten | Bis Löschen in den Einstellungen oder Deinstallation |
| Projektdateien (.webdm) | Speicherort Ihrer Wahl | Szene und Captures speichern | Von Ihnen gesteuert |
| Exportierte PNG/JPEG | Speicherort Ihrer Wahl | Mockup-Ausgabe | Von Ihnen gesteuert |
Netzwerkzugriff
Kontakt / Betroffenenrechte
Anfragen: hello@imping.digital.
Drittinhalte & Modelle
Geladene Websites unterliegen deren eigenen Bedingungen. Gebündelte 3D-Geräte-Modelle: CC-BY 4.0, Namensnennung in den App-Einstellungen.
Privacy Policy — Website Device Mockups
Summary
Website Device Mockups does not create an account with us, does not send your browsing data to imping.digital, and does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the current release.
You choose which websites to load. Those sites are fetched over the network by Apple’s WebKit engine on your Mac. Cookies and similar website data stay locally on your device unless a website you visit processes them under its own privacy policy.
Data we do not collect
We (Jonas Imping / imping.digital) do not receive from the app:
- Browsing history or URLs you enter
- Cookies, passwords, or WebKit storage
- Screenshots / exports (unless you choose to send them to us by email)
- Device identifiers for advertising or tracking
- Analytics or crash reports (no such SDK in the current app)
Data processed on your device
.webdm packages contain a manifest and image captures. They do not include cookies, passwords, or WebKit storage.
| Data | Where | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Website cookies / local storage (WebKit) | On your Mac, in the app’s WebKit data store | So sites you visit can keep you signed in | Until you clear website data in Settings or remove the app |
| Project files (.webdm) | Where you save them | Persist scene layout and screen captures | Controlled by you |
| Exported PNG/JPEG | Where you save them | Your mockup output | Controlled by you |
Network access
The app uses network access only to load URLs you enter (and resources those pages request). Traffic goes between your Mac and the destination servers — not through imping.digital as a proxy.
Purchases
If you buy the app through the Mac App Store, payment and account data are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not receive your payment card details.
Children’s privacy
The app is a professional tool and is not directed at children. Because it can load arbitrary websites, the App Store age rating reflects unrestricted web access.
Your choices
- Clear website data in Settings (applies across projects).
- Delete project files and exports on disk at any time.
- Uninstall the app to remove the app container (including local WebKit data), subject to macOS behavior.
Contact / GDPR rights
For privacy requests related to this app or to imping.digital, contact hello@imping.digital. You may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and complaint to a supervisory authority (in Germany typically the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information), where applicable. Because we do not receive app browsing data, many access requests will simply confirm that no such data is held by us.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app’s data practices change (for example if analytics are added later). The effective date at the top will be updated; material changes should also be reflected in App Store privacy labels before shipping that version.
Third-party content & models
Websites you load are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Bundled 3D device models are licensed under CC-BY 4.0; attribution is shown in the app Settings.
